Residential Property Legal Assistant / Paralegal:

We are looking for an experienced legal assistant / paralegal to join our residential property team to assist one of our solicitors with their caseload.

Your duties will include:

  • Sending out letters of instruction and other standard letters to progress each transaction
  • Using online services such as InfoTrack and the Land Registry portal to obtain documents and order searches in connection with each file.
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries from clients, solicitors and other parties involved in the transaction
  • Preparing completion statements and paperwork
  • Drafting and submitting SDLT forms
  • Dealing with pre & post completion paperwork
  • Preparing and submitting HM Land Registry applications & dealing with requisitions

You will need to be able to work under pressure, have good interpersonal skills and have a “can do” attitude.

This role is based at our office in Broxbourne where you will be co-located with the solicitor you are assisting.
