Leyla Mehru

I am a solicitor in the Wills and Probate Department, helping clients with critical aspects of their personal lives, particularly protecting their financial assets.

I am passionate about my specialism and can help you in a very approachable and empathetic manner. Assisting clients, at what is often the most vulnerable time in their lives, is why I chose this area of law.

You will get a very professional service delivered in a down to earth and caring way which are vital traits required to work in this area of law. You will be given advice in a straightforward and friendly manner in what are usually sensitive circumstances for clients. My advice is tailored very much to the client’s individual circumstances and needs.

I believe in working together as a team with clients to achieve objectives and desired outcomes. I can also communicate with you in Turkish.

I have STEP qualifications in Estate Administration and Trusts both of which I achieved distinctions. I advise on Wills, LPAs, deputyships, probate applications, estate administration and inheritance tax.

I have worked at large multi-international companies where I gained excellent commercial experience. In 2005, I changed my career to law and I have worked at various Central London and Hertfordshire law firms.

When not at work, you may be able to spot me locally chauffeuring around my two teenagers. I enjoy spending time with family, travelling, eating and socialising. I am also a proud Elvis fan.
